    To help a simpleton.</p>

    Use Table3.2 to calculate the cost of each site link based on WAN link speed. For WAN link speed that is not listed in the table, you can calculate a relative cost factor by dividing 1024 by the log of the available bandwith as measured in Kbps</p>

    You need the logarithm.

    Open the calculator in windows and select the scientific option and you can get them there

    1024/log9.6 = 1042.48

    If I type 1024 and press ln, it gives me 6.9314</p>

    If I type 1024 and press log it gives me 3.010</p>

    What am I doing wrong ?</p>

    ln is the natural log which is different to the log
