Seems to like to read the BBS and then comment on it on twitter. I'm thinking of doing the same on Knittingcircle.com
He used to post frequently but I recall he got a lot of criticism after certain games and seemed to stop posting after that. Dunno if the two things are linked.
Nah, that is Matthew Murray the chronicle guy (and bobby's secret lover according to our hemsy). Matt Bailey is Matt1576 isn't he?
That's Matthew Murray. Matt was Matt1575 on here I think. He used to post regular, but as Pete says, he kept getting uncalled for criticism, or asked questions all the time that he obviously couldn't answer. But he does still read the forum.
News from knittingciircle.com on possible steel move to hull... Mary from Arbroath says "Knit one, purl one"
Just had a look who the guy is. Someone off Barnsley Player apparently. I get the guys point but because you are promoted doesn't mean you can start spending money recklessly. The guy, Adam on the other hand who seems to think 60 million is a lot rather foolish because it isn't a lot (purely in football terms.) Cardiff will get the same and they have said they will spend 20/25 million max and they have a better team/ squad than hull. Hull will need more players and will have less to spend. I.E players will have to be quantity not quality but they will hopefully try and get both. How many times did Blackpool spend 4 million? or have Swansea? The owners already said he wants to move into a new stadium also. In my humble opinion and only my humble opinion Hull will be frugal with the money because the wounds will still be visible from last time.
Bit harsh calling me rather foolish there HT! To be honest though, if you can't supplement a promoted squad with a decent enough calibre of player with £60 million quid (or more depending on how much the Allams put in) to stay in the Premiership then unfortunately your in the wrong job. That kind of cash should see a team safe in mid table in my opinion.
Ok that might have been harsh but there'll not spend 60 million will they. They might have got 60 million through a number of channels but that'll go to a number of other things like if the owners loaned them any money. Reading spent less than 10 million according to that. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/reading/transfers/verein_1032.html Tykes mad have put something that said there looking at Steele because they have been quoted 4 million for Stockdale.
