Carbon, a free agent following a spell playing in New Zealand last season, has agreed an initial two-month deal following a successful trial spell.

"It's a great opportunity for me at a club that is moving in the right direction," he told the Dons' website.

The 32-year-old has also had spells with Derby County and Walsall after starting his career with Lincoln City.
