REDS defender Matt Carbon was forced out of the action at Scnuthorpe United with a respiratory problem, according to manager Andy Ritchie. Andy told the Official Website: "Matt came in at half time and could not breathe properly. We did not know whether he took a bang or what so we decided not to risk him. "Tony Vaughan came back into the team and did very well. I do not think Tony has anything to prove to anyone after sitting on the bench but he has missed three months of football so it was good to have him back".
Yes - I saw Kay gesturing to the bench that Carbon was really struggling and needed subbing, would have been about 10 mins before half-time.
