never nowt positive to say, your going to end up swinging, your the biggest depressive i've ever come across on a forum, its always end of the world in your posts i'm yet to come across a positive post from ya
Did he actually get any real game time. Fresh from injury comeback, playing off Harewood who didn't pull up any trees either. For me Done is one of the best finishers at the club, just needs to do it on a more often than not Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner
Davies v Done both one on one with the keeper after a 35 yard run with the ball I know which my money would be on Done He was almost through yesterday and id have backed him to finish it if the ball had broke for him and 3 points for us! Thought he did well in the short time he had.
Got a link Red to that because only thing I ever found was hearsay from a Journo who mentioned £300,000.
I like Matty Done, and at the time I agreed that we were right to reject an offer below 500k for him from a struggling club. However, I did also say about a month ago, that I'd have sold him if they'd improved the bid to somewhere close to a million. And, I'm not as idiotic as to judge the lad on a fleeting appearance after a month out injured. Useful player for us.
Yes. No reason to sell him. We don't 'need' to. Can play left wing, right wing, number 10 or up front (according to King Keith). He's quick, and last season he did fairly well considering it was his first year at this level. KK says we can't get another Matty Done for what we were offered for him. And, seen as he's the manager, knows what/who is out there/available, then I'll go with his judgement. And, lets be honest, KK gets more right than wrong. Only Wiseman of the regular starters looks gash to me, and even he looks better now he's not played at right back.
Re: Davies v Done both one on one with the keeper after a 35 yard run with the ball Through ball hits Ince on the ar5e, drops kindly for him to go on and score and people are creaming their keks (jammy ******* I say). A similar through ball hits Done on the arse and like 99 times out of 100 it doesn't drop lucky so he's a headless chicken. I can't get my breath. Should have sold him if it really was £ half a mill though.
