Good luck Dwayne. You were judged by some fans before you even wore the shirt.Four games is never enough to decide wether a player is good enough. The fans who saw you at Newcastle know theres a lot more to come from you.
It's true that the few games we've seen him haven't been enough to judge But it's pretty obvious that Davey doen't rate him at all.
His Home Debut......... is a week on saturday against his first club Huddersfield. It's a shame he got judged so early. He looked good in pre season and got rave reviews at Newcastle.
I'm sorry, that's not quite right .... I wish the lad well ............. ....... but ....... he did nothing out of the ordinary at Newcastle, apart from not look completely like a fish out of water, as he did in his other appearances for the reds. In my opinion, it's been a very odd bit of business, given that there is Bury connections in the management structure, cos the lad is clearly not up to Championship level football. Despite all the 'kind' comments about him in this thread, he has cost us £75,000 (is that right? £50k transfer and £25k cos we stayed up) ..... yes... 75 thousand english pounds ... hardly money well spent for a club who needs to count the pennies
RE: Davey's first signing! nt this is pure speculation but the impression given was one of
"we've got to sign somebody-anybody?" to appease the fans who didn't agree with Davey's appointment as caretaker

oh I forgot............. at an early meeting of the Supporters club with Davey he said Dwayne was one for the future as was Coulson
If they are our future, then bring on the ....... ..... Conference, or whatever it's called these days, cos that's their level, and even if they are slightly better than that, it's clear that they have no further part to play at Oakwell, given the calibre of the last bunch of players that we have signed. Get 'em off the wage bill, once and for all, that's what I think
Don't think Albatross is a Mattis fan. I hope he plays out of his skin at Walsall and comes back brimming with confidence (Mattis that is, not Albatross). But, I have to say I just don't think he is good enough for the Championship. Good luck to him though, he did take some very unwarranted stick.
