From about 2 minutes in, he makes some remark about stuff going off at Oakwell this Summer. Make your own minds up. http://www.player.rochdaleafc.co.uk...page/0/name/Dale-Player:-Matty-Done-Interview
Turns his nose up every time he mentions Barnsley, seems like a serious case of sour grapes. I must admit I did laugh when the interviewer says 'I imagine you turned down championship and league 1 clubs to come back to Rochdale' yeah maybe a season ago love, but not anytime soon!
It's more about stuff not going on at Oakwell, as far as he's concerned. He was a bit of a forgotten man at Hibs and maybe the club should have done better by him. I thought he was going to cry at one point, but being refused a transfer to Palace and the premier league then ending back at Rochdale in league 2, who wouldn't?
So basically sucking up to his new manager by slagging off the club that sacked his new manager. Well i'm sure it will have earned him some brownie points.
Sucking up to the manager that refused him a move to Palace (if there really was any substance in this).
He never should have left Spotland in the first place. Just like the bloke who brought him to Oakwell.
He wasn't good enough in the first place, he should thank his lucky stars for the time he did have on The Champ
Keith Hill: “While we were at the training complex there were other elite athletes there including the Belgian Swimming Team who represented the country at the Olympics and it was brilliant for the players to engage with elite athletes from other sports.” Engaging with the Belgian Swimming team. “I don’t design a pre-season where we run up hills because to my knowledge I’ve not played on a football pitch that has a hill on it or a sand hill." He's asked about why he chose to go back to Rochdale and says.. "It's been a hard one really, all summer. Things have been going on between me and Barnsley. I don't want to talk about that."
