Dont know if posted but here it is BARNSLEY manager Keith Hill has fired a broadside in the direction of Championship rivals Crystal Palace, urging them to show some realism in their pursuit of Matt Done. The Reds rejected a bid from the Eagles earlier this month with the Selhurst Park outfit rumoured to have tabled another offer this week. That is understood to have fallen well below Barnsley’s valuation of the 24-year-old – reportedly at least £750,000 – and Hill, who is naturally keen to keep hold of his better players, confirmed that if the club decide to sell, it will only be for the right price. Hill said: “Why should we strengthen our rivals’ hands? If we do that with the sale of Matty Done, it’s got to be right for the football club. “Matty is fully in the picture and Crystal Palace can keep coming back... But there will be a price that – if it’s matched by them – probably will mean that he’s available.
If Done goes I can see him signing Kallum Higginbottom who played well for us in his five games here but couldn't get on the bench for Huddersfield.
