Leicester fans love him. He's aparantly built his fitness up in 23's, we've monitored him and he's looking sharp. If he can replicate his form from Leicesters promotion then a brilliant signing. Don't think we're done yet either. Couple of perm signings to come, to bed in for next season.
Jack Hunt Is a good player. He was average at best for us though. Matty hasn't played for 18 months doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that he can fill the Morsy role in our full court press game.
Just spoken with my Leicester mate. Only just recently broken into u23s set up. 4 goals in 120 games. Tippy tappy, but very good on the ball. Very much a sit in holding player. Not used to take set pieces. Obviously we could aim to try and remodel, but her nickname for him was "handbrake". I kid ye not.
Experienced central midfield player. Something we've not had for a while. Could give the opportunity for someone like Scowen to get forward more which he apparently likes to do. His injury record is a risk, but no more so than signing an unproven 20 year old from league 2. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
My mate works for Leicester says Matty is a great bloke and fantastic player. Thinks he may struggle to hit the ground running given his injuries and that we wouldn't see the best of him for 2/3 months.
He's definitely got quality. A good range of passing apparently too. Be interesting to see if he can be developed into our style of play.
Sounds like he might hit the ground and break. (Joke just in case folk were wondering). I'm an optimist, he'll be awesome for us.
