    Please can someone explain why

Conor should be captain without a doubt

I thought craine was speechless on the pitch but Mawson doesn't say a word and one of our worst defenders

I honestly cannot see us stopping us this year

Never seen us in the bottom division and I get the feeling that's going to change

League 2 is coming at us like an express train yet the board are like rabbits staring into the healights!

Mawson needs dropping as his confidence is shot.

I agree, hand the captaincy over to someone else

Hourihane got accused of the same last season when he was captain.
There seems to be a love in from some over Hourihane but hes got a lot to improve too.

Mawson's clearly low on confidence at the moment but so are a lot of the team. I can tell you he does talk on the field and will get annoyed with team mates. He did at Doncaster for example.

Alfie gets the ball at feet and Hourihane and Pearson cause him so many problems by offering nothing infront of him. It got that bad at the back that we didn't even try and play from the back and that was dreadful for BFC

Hourihane has still room within his game to improve, but compared to last season, he has added the ability to tackle to his repertoire and I hope to goodness we retain his services when the transfer window opens

I don't see it with Conor much but the formation for sure doesn't fit with him naturally.

Seen it before when the game was financially on a comparative level playing field. The days of Championship football have gone for a very long time. We will be back to the times of the late 70s. Can we find a modern day Allan Clarke to turn the club around I wonder.

That's cause the manager is totally out of his depth!

If we lose Conor we will lose our league 1 status without a doubt

We might lose it anyway ;)

Hourihane and Hamill are the only choices for captain. Conor if he wants it should have it as without him we would be even more in the cack than we are now.

I don't think we've any lads I'd class as a leader in the squad.

I think Hourihane's the closest thing to one so I'd give it him.

He's got 3 goals in the last 3 games. He was our top goal scorer and Player of the Season last year (despite people questioning his defensive ability). He's now improved his defensive ability. Of course there's a love in for him! Why would there not be?

*Also, he's not bad looking ;)

Eh? Who's the 'him' you're referring to and what has Whitey to do with it?
