    I like the Roberts & Mawson partnership. They both look composed and calm and offer so much. Mawson good on the floor and great technique, Roberts good in the air and long throw. Great partnership developing there.

    I expected Mawson to be a class act. I'm more surprised about Roberts, who I thought would struggle more at first, but he looks better than Mawson for me. Proper old fashioned centre half and a Barnsley lad to boot.

    I'm surprised how good Roberts is. Mawson I thought would be great and he is.

    Agree with pretty much all of this thread, these two compliment each other so well and are probably the best pairing I've seen for us in a long, long time (albeit in League 1). I expected Mawson to be at the level he is due to his success last season but I was expecting Roberts to be cover for Nyatanga tbh but hes been very impressive. And that throw is something else.

    I just hope they are both here for a while.
