Cant see it myself, Benitez doesnt strike me as the kind who'd scout the lower leagues for young talent. Prefers to blow cash on names. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rafa doesn't and won't do scouting on most or any players. They will have a team of scouts that cover ever region in the uk,Europe and further afield thent hat DonnyTyke
Alf is promising talent and I don't doubt that there will be interest from other clubs. But I would expect us to fight to keep him and command a substantial fee if he did move on. And a club record fee at that. I would hope in todays market we wouldn't consider any less than £5m+ for the lad. 22year old versitile defender that is good with his feet and in the air, takes a good free kick and scores goals.
Most likely but I'd assume that Benitez would have demanded complete control over signings before agreeing to follow them to the championship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bad move for Mawson, he'd be a bench warmer behind Hanley & Lascelles who I reckon is going to be a top player in a few years
I know nowt but my lad plays in u16s in a Northants league, we regularly get scouts watching and they are from 5 clubs in the main......Villa, Brum, Leics, Ipswich and Newcastle. Its a bloody long way to Newcastle from here so they are making an effort.
Yeah he's called Graham. Arguably the best scout in English football. His record is there for all to see over the past few years. He's made Mike Ashley an heck of a lot of profit on foreign players that had hardly been heard of over here before.
