His stats on wiki shows he's rubbish. He's bone idol one of the worst strikers in our history...he's not interested and simply collecting a wage
I'm not sure what's worse. How bad he is or how absolutely awful the decision was to sign him up for 4 years after witnessing how bad he was for us last season
I’m struggling to see why we keep putting him on the pitch. I’d much rather see Aiden Marsh getting a run out.
You both will without a doubt be humbly apologising before the end of the season about how you got it wrong about Watters.
Nowt like dunking on a new signing. He may end up being crap. He may end up being great. Far too early to tell.
At least the other players can breathe easy, the board seem to have found 2023/24 seasons whipping boy.
Agreed. But I don't think it's out of order to point out that he offers very little right now. He didn't last season either IMO, he's not a player I would have been looking to sign. 4 year contract though so plenty of time.
Marshy did more in the 20 minutes game time than Watters ,and nearly scored a left footed screamer. He looked the bees knees today.
I think we've seen enough of Max to realise he is a confidence player. It shows in his performances and in his body language. Firmly believe he needs to bounce one over the line with his shin or his backside then he'll go on a run. Time yet.
