to see our ground in league two will be crippling for the fans and im not sure how the club could manage in the basement league. Hopefully won't come to that though.
IMO, there is absolutely zero way he should keep his job, if we go down. would there be any other manager in the game, to survive two successive relegations? i'm sorry, but that isn't rebuilding. it's massive failure.
We are much more likely to be relegated than be promoted put it that way, and for me that's just not good enough. Relegated from the championship and now fighting at the foot of league one? Sorry danny but tha *****.
It's the "keep Wilson" group my question was aimed at as I get the feeling that Danny will be here next season, come what may. With that in mind and all the "work in progress/rebuilding" talk doing the rounds, I suspect that deep down he may be almost resigned to going down, which is we're seeing a sudden influx of Academy/League 2/Non-league players in readiness for life in Division 2.
i think, and sincerely hope, you're wrong. i think the recruitment drive is to push us up the league, not prepare for more failure. if it was the latter, i can tell you right now they would be one ST holder down next season.
No way should he keep his job if we're relegated. We need some stability and time to build but if we're relegated them it's safe to say there's been more dismantling than building being going on. We should have something to show after 18 months.
Tbh, I would hope he would be gone before we were relegated. If we're bottom 4 in March, he needs to go - trying anything at that point would be better than relegation. I just can't believe we're close to being in this situation again! And to think that some actually welcomed our relegation from the Championship..? I'd much rather be struggling at the bottom of the Championship than struggling at the bottom of League1.
