So wigans bid of 3 million is the highest bid and only bid so far now im sorry to see him go but im just stating this to be the voice of the other side For all our discust and uproar 7 teams were said to be watching him only 3 have shown a interest on paper and as it stands 3 million is the winning bid SO i ask if thats the best offer we get (considering wigans first was 500k) what make us fans think we know better?? hes still a massive gamble for any team im not saying im happy ... so dont shoot me down just posting it to see others ideas???
You are missing the massive point here mate. There is less and less to to get excited about at BFC. People are refusing to buy into it any more and are finding other things to do with their time and money. This isn't our job, we don't have to put up with it. It's got nothing to do with valuations, it's about being allowed to enjoy our best players for more than a dozen games. We're tired of it.
You're missing the point, he might be worth £3m of Wigan's money but he's worth more to us in terms of survival, squad harmony, potential etc
I totally understand the frustration. From the pit of despair that was Keith Hill, we've galvanised. On and to some extent, off the pitch. A run of 5 games has given us some hope. Part of that run includes 1 goal conceded in 5. John Stones is a huge part of that. We've seen a boy emerge out of nowhere, who is a special special talent. It feels to me that on the very last day of the January window, we're going to have that snatched away. Remains to be seen what effect it will have, but this is definitely not Don 'realigning with the fans'. I think psychologically this could massively dent the momentum that we have. At the worst possible time. The best possible present we could have given to our relegation opponents. I understand the Club's position. But i'm gutted. Proper gutted.
im missing no point as like i said i dont agree with selling him just stating afew facts as a talking point i see both points of view one think i dont do that some are though is think that selling him will doom us to relegation i have more confindence in the rest of the team for that
My disillusion dial has just reached tipping point. I fear I'm not alone. There's your point, old lad!
been a barnsley fans never been plain selling but lets face it unless your teams backed by a healthy group of chicken farmers or oil giants SELLING is the way football is going i hate seeing good players go but we are no different to any team in this league or any other thats trying to carry on without big backing
