Going to start sorting bathroom out...

Want to re-tile etc and replace existing Shower (one of those with thermostatic temp controlled jobbys) with an electric shower.

Which order do I do it in.

ie do I rip out the old shower
    re-tile
    then fit electric shower

or fit shower first and then re-tile....

When I say it could lead to jobs, I was let down, cos a mate of mine was supposed to come and do the lot, but unfortunately can't want the work as he never turned up, so, if we have a person on here who can do electrics AND plumbing, there is a job (timing depends on when the tiling needs to be done and when I get to go and buy all the stuff).

Without sounding rude, I don't want to balance the work between an electrician and a plumber, would rather have someone who can do both but can live with sorting the tiling out seperate, of course this will give someone an advantage if they can do that too.

    Any suggestions/takers???

I'd say plum and wire the shower in, then tile, then fit the shower.</p>
