What have Eaden and Redfearn ever done anywhere else as managers or coaches? Rose tinted spectacles and red roses come to mind.
I can't speak for Eaden's coaching ability, although he's employed by a Leicester side full of foreign riches and he's trusted with their youth. But I do know he has an old fashioned blood and guts view on football. He has no time for "football philosophies" - "just a **** term for tactics" he said recently. He doesn't suffer fools, nor idle gets. I think it's a perfect fit. But I know **** all about football. It'll be down to Danny who he brings in- personally I hope it's someone who genuinely wants Barnsley Football Club to do well. He fits the brief for me.
Wasn't he on radio Sheffield one game (which was the first time in months he had watch) and sussed out all our main weaknesses in the first 20 mins that we had been saying all season....
At the recent trust meeting he articulated exactly what was wrong with our tactics. We all knew it was bang on and he'd only seen us on TV. Twice. (Maybe also he was at a radio sheffield game not sure)
