Surely this means Hassell will be required at right back, with Van Homoet at left back against Chelsea? Forcing Davey to abandon the 2nd full-back-in-midfield project of his tenure. Maybe we can attract someone on loan who fancies getting himself in the limelight against Chelsea?
If he doesn't get a quality holding midfield player in soon we'll be in trouble. Our midfield was very weak today no leadership, no composure & very little skill, even if you blame the wind.
Souza is back on Tuesday so I reckon Foster will go to RB and Souza back in with Lewin & Van Hommet at LB! If Mattis gets fit he might be worth a go at CM with Howard. Give the lad a chance, he was good at Newcastle and he is a CM unlike Bobby! Although Bob has done well for me! Just prefer to see him at RB over VH!!
