    Last season we had plenty of strikers, but none of them any good.

    This time we have less, and the quality is debatable.

    I give SD until christmas then if we aren't going to get a striker. Just arent going to be able to score enough goals. Not enough to have a half decent season anyway.

    You're going about it in completely the wrong way

    What we need to do is keep posting messages about how excellent are strikers are, how it's going to be a real fight for places, Macken will get 15+, Hume 20+, Kayode Ugly 10+, Mossto chipping in with some.

    As soon as Davey hears about this he'll get his stubborn head on and sign John Stead and Romario, yes Romario.

    The longer we state the need for a striker the more Davey will try and prove us wrong.

    But then why say anything at all? All that statement will do is dishearten fans and affect ticket sales.

    It's not as though he's denying interest in a particular player whereby denial would be a case of keeping things hush.

    It seems that every week during the season we hear a player is injured when they're not. Then a player does get injured, like Foster at the back end of last season, and not a word is said about it. Disinformation. I just love it.
