I think to stand any chance of getting fans back onside, Hill has to give BH a start. But having said BH can only play in midfield, and he would probably be behind most of the current midfielders. how can he bow to public pressure and backtrack against what he has said. He needs to engineer a situation where he can save face. If BH plays and we lose he can say 'told you so - he ain't good enough'. So he says McNulty/Wiseman got a knock in training, and are touch and go. Sticks them on the bench as cover and says they're not fit and only on bench as an emergency. He can say he has no choice but to play BH as there is no alternatives. As soon as we lose with BH in the side, he gets dropped and McNulty and Wiseman are suddenly fit again.I actually think it might happen as KH must know he is losing the fans and their support of BH. I don't know if bobby is any better than what we have, but he has to have a go. His win ratio is second to none, he will lift the crowd, and will stick his head where it is needed, and has relegation battle experience. To me it is a no-brainer, but maybe KH has no-brain.
He could maybe drop his handbrake and play bobby In midfield to give us a bit of drive and enthusiasm going forward, of which were lacking without perkins. Greening may have 99.5 completion rate but all I'd passes are to the back four
@madmark Yes, if he didnt want to play BH then thats what he would do. But i think he needs to engineer a way of getting Bobby back on the pitch for the sole purpose of trying to curry favour with the fans. Everyone knows KH does not want to play BH, but he may have to do it to survive a little longer
maybe. but he dropped alnwick and brought back Steele he dropped Wiseman he said hes looking after no 1, so self-preservation is the most important thing so he may need to do some backtracking It is looking more likely that BH will outlast KH at this club. I am beginning to think it more likelythat BH will be here next season and KH not
