It's quite funny to watch someone in such a lofty political position, have to public ally apologise for his vices. Motto being......if yer gunna do it, don't get caught?
I was wondering how long it might take people in the UK to pick up on this story. It's been the major headline here (outside the Phillipines disaster) for the last few weeks. The guy is an imbecile who should've resigned months ago. He makes UK politicians look like angels - in the UK, the slightest hint that someone has done something or said something improper and they resign (typically). But not this guy. A few months ago he swore that he had not smoked crack cocaine. Two days ago he admitted it - and that it happened in the last 2 years (i.e. while mayor of Toronto). He is clearly a liar. And a liar with major substance and alcohol problems (which he admitted today). He has also admitted to drink-driving while in office. The one thing he hasn't admitted is the prostitute allegation. Added to all this though he was photographed last year standing arm in arm with a close business associate and an alleged drug dealer - the latter was found dead shortly afterwards. The business associate is/will be on trial for involvement in the murder. If that lot's not enough to resign from office I don't know what is.
Got lots of Canadian mates over here, and most are from the GTO. They're incensed that he's being allowed to get away with it. Their Facebook updates are one-a-week about a new scandal of his!

Well actually, on the "food theme" his latest outlandish comment yesterday, live on tv, when referring to a former employee was "why would I need to eat (her) pussy? I get enough of it at home". Makes you so proud to have such an oaf as Mayor of the largest city in Canada.
