Especially in front of goal now that the only one who seems capable of scoring has been let go. </p> Or will running costs eat up the fee? </p> Should McCann agree personal terms with Barnsley and stay with the club, he will join up with Martin Devaney who left the club when we were a good side. </p> Grant cost the club £50,000 when he joined in January 2003, there is a clause in his contract that will see West Ham get a percentage of any sell on fee </p> We all knew he was off somewhere and we'll definitely miss him </p> Grant has been a good servant to the club in the time he has been at Whaddon Road, personally I would rate him alongside Tony Naylor and the likes. He became famous for his free kicks that has seen him score some good goals or else take someone's head off just behind the goal. </p> John Ward spoke of the player to the club's official website: "In a way I'm in two minds because it's sad to lose a good player but I get on well with Grant and it's a great opportunity for him. </p> "He has done extremely well for Cheltenham Town Football Club and this move will not only give him the chance to play at a higher level but also to further his international career as well." </p> </td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table></p>
Free kick specialist? That would be excellent. We dont score from many free kicks. Stuart Gray and Beresford were good at them as was Agnew. Cant remember but did Barnard score a few for us?
RE: Free kick specialist? of course he did, Bolton at home in prem, got a ballocking from Redders for taking it and he scored. Redders was known to score a few too.
RE: Free kick specialist? Yes I remember that one because he took it so quickly and caught them all out.
