Not being funny or anything ... thought he had a torrid until his goal. In the first half i remember him just touching it out of play. Glad he scored though - otherwise we'd have got another manager in. Fickle fickle Barnsley

His best position is in the middle though.

He also hit a great ball to Nardi in the 1st half when Nardi was clear then fell over!

Looked good on the ball but I think would ne most effective in the middle.

Yeah i agree he is usually a central midfield player, and just because he is left footed doesnt mean he's a left winger. Just didnt think he was up to much until he screamed home that goal. On the plus side i thought wallwork is what we have been missing ... very tough tackling. Needs match sharpness but otherwise looks good.

RE: McCann -- looked ok to me.........but he aint NO McIndoe is he ???...........and

If his best position is middle of midfield where does that leave Wallwork and Togwell, who I thought did well, and who fills the left wing slot if McCann moves to the middle, Howard ???

Didn't Howard play left wing for Swindon when he was there?

Howard is, or can, play left wing
