What the hell is happening in this case?

The bumbling Portugese police, a couple who are going through hell (and I see that the Vatican have now removed all traces of their visit from the Official Vatican site), and a scenario that seems to be never ending with no solution in sight to find out what happened to poor, little Maddie.

I can't believe that the McCanns are guilty, I just can't.

    All I can say is...

    Told you so!

I've said from the beginning I thought they had something to do with it.

Where have you got that from then? ....

........ still says she was interviewed (for 11 hours????) as a 'witness' on BBC News Website and that the McCann's are not suspects

Our local radio station has just reported that they've finished interviewing the mrs

and are due to talk to the husband today, but they are not suspects.

Whatever, there is still something a tad fishy about all this.

    "The bumbling Portugese police"

    says who, the Daily Mail?

If she is dead or not, they are still culpable for leaving three children under the age of five alone in a hotel room.

It doesn't mean she is guilty but the fact is that people responsible for the majority of children who are abducted or killed are friends or the parents of the family.

True, you have to remember everything has to be translated however.......still in probability a ling interview. Just seen her on the news as she came out and in my view she looked a worried woman.

Could be one of two things...

One: She has been told they have evidence that names her
Two: She has been told they have evidence who took her

One guess is that they were sedating the kids and it went horribly wrong.

Think we need to calm down.

The status of 'suspect' in Portugal allows plod to go down a certain avenue of enquiry that otherwise they couldn't do. It doesn't necessarily mean as far as I can gather, that they deffo think she bumped the little lass off.

The irony of the moralistic stance of people on this board

when a 'person' on the pseudo risk register frequents it.

    Wrong in every way.

they received the results of the forensic tests yesterday and the police said they were "happy" with the results. Whatever that means.

    Well I have no idea

But if they are involved they have carried out one hell of a stunt
Why would you keep the story in the press in the way they have and push for extra resources etc if you were guilty - surely a lower profile grief striken approach asking for privacy to be repected etc would be more sensible.

I hope it wasnt them -if only for the remaining kids
