Lol. I used to work with his sister. She lives (or at least last time I saw her which was admittedly 15 + years ago) in Sheffield. The deedar accent will be no trouble for Steve.
Odds on for the Wednesday job now. Interesting that if he takes over he will become the manager with the highest win percentage in South Yorkshire - including Carlos. It would be even better but for his spells at problem clubs Newcastle and Forest. I think he'd be a very good appointment for Wednesday.
