    He did well when he came on. He won't be in the squad for next game. Didn't run far enough.

    Can we not go OTT on McCourt because as sure as eggs are eggs he`ll be the devil on here in 4 weeks time.

    He would be fantastic in a confident, winning side. However we cant afford to start it at the minute as his defensive side of the game is shocking.

    We have enough

    Midfield players getting selected whose only have a defensive contribution to their defensive game. I quite like the idea of having a skilful lad in the team whose causes problems for the opposition. When the likes of Perkins, Etuhu & Dawson are doing that as well as their defensive play, THEN McCourt can be criticised for not doing both and not before.

    Unfortunately flicker doesn't share that view ,unless your prepared to run around all day like a headless chicken offering no creativity or attacking threat you ain't gonna get in the starting eleven.
