Barnsley Loyal will be thrilled with this one!

Good signing if we can keep the lad fit, and away from Wellington Street.

I must say that I am surprised at this one. Not that Flicker has signed a winger, just that he has signed McCord. Flicker goes on and on about players having the right DNA, but having read about McCord elsewhere, he seems to have trouble with his fitness and particularly endurance. There is no doubt he has talent, but does he have the determination to improve, in the environment that Flicker and his staff provide? I guess we will soon find out.

Just because it's on the club site doesn't mean anything. It's not official until Gum121 confirms it.

I've seen this lad play a few times and I've been impressed. Although from what I'm told he's an impact player and can't endure a 90 minute game, usually gets the last half hour or gets taken off after about 50 minutes. Ill reserve my judgement on him until I've seen this lad play in a red shirt.

McCourt is a winger though. Mellis is really our only attacking central midfielder.

We should look more creative with 4-4-2 now, Jennings on one side, McCourt on the other, with RNL and JimBob as backup.

Heyup, I finally get sumat reight and Gum even gets the credit for that! :D
Interesting addition. Could be useful in the later stages of a game off the bench, running at tiring defenders.
