Nixon on twitter saying they are getting serious about Gus.. Be glad when the transfer window is shut. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
He'll not be going anywhere this window, too long on his contract , all speculation we not even looking for cover at this stage for him.
Same day as he said Roberts hitting up too, as though we'd let them both go now after losing so many key players.
To be fair I don't think we should assume anything right now. We've shown we will sell our best players, if we think the deal is right for the club
This^^^^^^^^ Lots of ... I know, I know... on here, when they know sweet F A. The best and only thing they have is a hope.
I had a call earlier mate, but they have a question mark over my age. Sent via Royal Mail and typed up by my Tapatalk byatch
Rather we don't sell him and he signs a contract extension. Bit late in the day to be selling more key players unless we already have replacements lined up
Can't see us selling Macdonald his value should be greater in the summer. This time next year though he'll be available on the cheap so a summer move looks likely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why in god's name did we only sign him on a two year deal? Is Yiadom also only on a two year contract?
Probably because he was too much of a gamble at that time to tie down for longer. Same probably for Yiadom.
I understand that in theory, but surely neither of them are on a particularly big wedge. Fingers crossed we'll be able to renegotiate with them in the summer and do a deal which is beneficial both to the club and the players. Worst case scenario we start next season as a solid second tier side. And if the worst was to happen at the end of next season, I can't imagine we'd have any bother selling them and getting them off the wage bill.
As soon as he was getting into first team and looking summat like a prospect he should have been tied down. Is this just one of the reasons why Linton went ?
