RE: What year? it opened in 86,was burtons before, woollies was the rest of it where burtons, dot perkins etc is now, they had a 20 year lease so thats why its up a similar thing happened to the mcd's in sheffield last year, the one on the moor.
I say good riddance to it. Perhaps it will help lower the towns rat population and cut down on the towns litter.
i would say thats a society problem not just a mcd's problem,do you blame walkers for there crisps packets lining the street and hedges?
I'm pretty sure closing mcd's will help in reducing the rat pop. Yes it is a society proplem of which mcd,s plays a part.
i agree with you on that score,i have heard stories of rats in there plenty near there back door, common sense says that if you take there food supply away they will go away, but still they will go somewhere.
Aslong as it doesent stand boarded up, too many bulidings like that in that area, and aslong as it doesnt become another pound shop.
Get in! Are you sure - would have thought they were making plenty but I'd love to see the back of that place
It'll probably reopen as another pub/bar, fitted out from Ikea & selling over priced bottled lager & alcopops!
Rent is £25,000 per month which they are having difficulties paying and lease is up, at least that's what they've been told at McDonalds at Stairfoot where Christopher works.
