    In that role Sibbick easily.

    If we're playing 3 in the middle i think having Sibbick doing that job would actually improve Mcgeehans game and allow him to get further forward.

    As decent as Sibbick was in the first half, he was largely anonymous in the second and offered little in an attacking sense.

    Not being over critical as I thought he did ok. But it did mean Mowatt had to do twice as much work as he should have.

    Think Sibbick largely hindered his game with the needless booking he got in the first half.

    Sibbick won everything today.

    I’ve been patiently waiting for Dougall to return back to the squad but he’s going to have a hard time getting in the first team with Sibbick playing like that. As is McGeehan.

    Toby Sibbick is one of the best players I have seen play for Barnsley in recent years. He will go to a PL team at the end of the season. Much better than Pinnock or Lindsay and more versatile, suits the modern game. Enjoy him while you can.

    I think it might take a couple of seasons before hes ready for the PL but it's looking like he might do it.

    On today’s showing I’d pick Sibbick.

    Great that Toby can play there but surely when Dougall is fit he’s gunna be our long term enforcer he looked brilliant at start of last season and strolled through games if he can get fit he’ll be a big player for us this season.

    I'd not be dropping Sibbick but I think it might be an idea to have him in midfield behind Mowatt and A.N Other, whether that be McGeehan, Bähre, Styles, Oduor or whoever.
    Particularly away from home it'd be good to control midfield.
