I would have preferred that he stayed and was disappointed when I learned that he had left - but a few things to take on board;

    He was not part of the hard working side that brought us promotion last season.

    He came to us in the summer, and despite all his efforts during his tenure the team went through one of it's poorest ever performing spells.

    Although a very good player, one of the reasons we took him from Doncaster, he still has a long way to go and quite a bit to prove. I hope he does.

    But - given all that, Is he really the dog's bolls, or did he just shine and look good in a struggling side, which has now been strengthened?

    His big test will come now. This is where he will have to prove his credentials. If he does, then all the hype will be justified. But if he doesn't, where does that leave him?
