Great - nothing against Micky Mellon and he may well turn out to be a capable manager but completely the wrong guy at the moment for what we need - and really I dont think it would be the right move for him either. Only reason I can see for having him assist is either we are thinking of A Flicker/Mellon dream team or Mellon to be the next boss. Think all those popping the champaigne corks and celebrating Hills departure might want to look at tools to put the cork back in the bottle
I'm going to lay it off, the odds will shorten massively when the news filter through, I will then lay it , free money!
OK, imagine the scenario - we win at Peterborough under their stewardship, and then take say eight points from the next four games after that. I would guess that they would then be given the chance to carry on until the end of the season, with the fans on side, and the board have got themselves a very inexpensive replacement. Lose to Peterborough and Burnley and we appoint someone else.
Re: 66/1 with BetVictor havent we effing well learned that getting managers without any good experience or getting then from lower **** teams that think they can step up a few divisons WONT work,,,,,aka hill <<< ****
or flitcroft could have rung up an oit of work mate and asked him if fancies helping out and keeping his hand in for a few days. christ on a bike
Who did you back it with Chef? A very astute gambling decision if you ask me, we'll done! Don't think you can lay it with skybet.
Spot on - he's clearly a mate and Flicker feels like he needs some help. Gives him a chance to show his ability, but by no means a stitched on appointment...
