    Hill intimated that in his interview post the WBA game.

    I'm sure it will be almost universally slated but I think thats a really shrewd appointment.

    I reckon our fortunes will greatly depend on McNulty and Mellis this season.

    Think McNulty will step up this season.

    A years experience in the Championship plus his first real full season for quite a while. No doubt he'll get slated by some though.

    Based on what?? He got worse as the season went on. People seem to think he's a good player because he can pass the ball six yards with the inside of his foot. Problem is - he can't defend.

    a sad sign of the times if McNulty is our new captain...he is not the worst in the squad by any means but ffs

    The whole team got worse as the season went on - fact!

    Can't remember too many complaining before January.

    Totally agree. I do believe that McNulty will be a better player this season, even more so with a capable strong centre back alongside him.

    He was as assured as Shackell when during 2011 but then went down a bit. Still, let's hope the extra responsibility brings him on
