Didn't we extend his contract in the summer by a year?

I don't rate him either mate. But if we weren't going to play him, why on earth did we extend his contract? It's not like we've given him his chance this season and he's ****** it up. That's true of most other defenders we've got a the club, but not McNulty. I think he's only played the Southampton game. First half I thought he played well. Much better than how the majority of our defenders have performed this season. Maybe he had a complete nightmare in the second half, I don't know, after the second went in I knew the match was over so I buggered off to a gig, but even if he did he can't have been any worse than the majority of our defence and they all keep getting picked.

We shouldn't have re-signed him. It's not fair to him having him rotting in the stands when he could easily have got another club, and it's a waste of a wage for Barnsley FC.

The few games he has played at left back in the past I actually thought he looked quite decent. Defensively he couldn't be any worse there than TK.
At centre half he's a complete liability.

Strange decision to re-sign him if we had no intention of playing him regularly. The management didn't know what it was up to on this one. We haven't got the budget to carry players for the sake of it.

I'd have him at left-back though. TK has held that position for too long now, been very lucky to keep the shirt after some of the mistakes. Probably due to him being Flicker's favourite. Let someone else have a go!

Agree. But I rate him and I think he's a perfect LCB for us. I'd also play him LB instead of Kennedy.

Saying all the right things is MC Nulty......

    1) Doesn't think he should be at Tranmere so he's faith in himself enough to think he should be getting a game at championship level for us.

    2) Didn't like rotting in the stands so actually wants to play unlike many at clubs (O Hara at Wolves for example) that would rather sit in the stands than change clubs.

If these tweets are real, I don't think they'll have done him any favours with our management team.

Why will they? He's confident enough in his own ability to say so. If I was Flicker i'd have been more annoyed if he'd said "I'm not good enough for championship level and so it's good for me to drop a level on loan". He sounds from the tweets like someone who is only on loan for match time and has every intention to come back match sharp and fight for his place. And right now we need fighters because we are struggling.

When you hold your hands up, admit you got it wrong and apologise for that completely unjust and inaccurate attack on our manager you came out with yesterday, I'll start listening to what you've got to say again.

I personally think Jimmy is a better left back than Kennedy, and a better centre half. You'd think - with our current injury problems - that we'd have recalled him. Unless Flicker is actually going to select Bobby? Or is M'Voto back?
