I know he's injured, but with the signing of cranie, wiseman looking so solid today and not needed at right back given stones looks a real find, is it worth accepting the alleged offer? I don't see how he would improve the team on today's showing.

Or is cranie his replacement and there's something we don't know?

I hope not. Mcnulty's a good centre half. Hopefully Cranie comes in and we can get rid of the forgotten man Rob Edwards before the window closes.

Who would buy Edwards though? I reckon Hill would love to get him off the wage bill but he hasn't played anywhere near enough to attract offers from other clubs. I hope McNulty stays, he's got his faults but he's a good ball playing defender and I think he will be a good player for us this season.

    Mcnulty isn't a good defender

or we could actually keep them all so the squad is big enough if injuries hit us hard again

The problem with Mcnulty he want's too much time on the ball and then runs in to problems all the time, the team played a'lot better without him.

Is he injured again? He declared himself fit in the Chronicle supplement this week.

He'll be getting top dollar - as Keith signed him as captain for the beginning of last season. Presumably he didn't suddenly become a bad footballer.

The salary will make him difficult to move on.
