.............why is it NO SURPRISE that he is making individual errors yet again. He's an absolute liability and this won't get any better.
If we don't sign at least 1 centre half in January (a leader/organiser) that can head the ball and 'roll his sleeves up', then I believe we will be relegated this season.
McNulty's problem is that he thinks he's a cultured ball playing centre half. Which he isn't. He's a decent left back that can't head the ball or dominate and bully a centre forward.
Still rather have him than Wiseman at centre half. We haven't conceeded from any of McNulty's errors thankfully.
Agreed. But his errors put us under pressure and have a compund effect - whereby clearing his lines or actually completing a pass would alleviate pressure. Chaos theory.
McNulty needs dropping as he is simply not good enough at this level..............his errors get punished more than they do in lower league(s). Surely Keith Hill can see these errors and do something about it ie. take him out of the team cos he's in the firing line with the fans, who all know he's "one minute away from a clanger".
I just can't see why he doesn't play foster and cranie in the middle with stones or hassell at right back
Ditto. McNulty is not the player we need in there. However, Hill's failure to plug that gap in the summer as we all knew, will end up costing us dear, if he doesn't do something in early January to rectify it.
Not sure Hill will be around in January to rectify it. Cue the who could do better with this budget brigade but I think the Wednesday game could see one or both of Hill and Jones getting their P45. Hill's inability to address the problems that were obvious to us all at the end of last season will ultimately cost him his job.
McNulty is a left back. Blame the manager, who is obsessed with square pegs and round holes. He's a dead man walking IMO, and I no longer care whether he remains or not.
