Mcnumpty is probably the worse player I've seen at Barnsley. He's pathetic. Was watching the bobby in goal video on YouTube the other day, he put bob right in the sh¡te a few times.
He's been quality for ages for them then the first time he does something wrong there's a thread on here about it. Love it. We aren't bitter one bit
Yeah there fans love him but we don't get a thread on here about it. But soon as he gets a weak second yellow for a coming together up pops a Mcnulty Is **** thread.
He didn't play for us in the Championship last season, did he? I'm not bigging him up or owt, but he was about as culpable for last season as David Tuttle.
I love Flitcroft. I reckon he'll manage in the Premiership one day. The rest of the Rochdale Mafia: Hill, Dawson, Wiseman, McNulty, Kennedy, and anyone else I've missed, can all die in a big fire for all I care.* *Not really. You know what I mean, though.
I really believe it. You have to have something special about you to do what he did in the second half of the Great Escape season. It was astonishing, brilliant stuff, and we'll probably never see its like again. He was tactically aware, he could spot a player, and the team worked non-stop, never believing it was beaten. It went very badly wrong for him in the end, but he'd earned the right to mess it up after his earlier accomplishments. I'm sure he's not perfect - he has expensive tastes as far as pre-match preparation goes, and he likes a big squad - but I'd sooner have him than Alan Irvine, Nigel Pearson (made to look like Flitcroft's bitch despite Leicester spending millions and millions), Gus Poyet and any number of other current Premiership managers.
He earned the right to mess it up? "Thanks for keeping us up this season - please feel free to squander loads of brass and take us down next season". Managing in the premiership? He's got more chance of being the next president of the United States.
