Me and my fat arse

Right so I live in Barnsley but I work over near Manchester and despite the best laid plans I missed last nights meeting through unforeseen commitments at work. In an ideal world I’d have told my employer and a valued customer to get fecked so I could get home in time to attend but in these times of struggle i decided to be a coward and stay sat on my fat arse regrettably meaning I missed the meeting.
I didn’t realise at the time that opting to put my living first and staying sat on my fat arse would mean that I am no longer a supporter of Barnsley FC and therefore not eligible for or worthy of information seemingly classified as 'top secret'. Oh well, never mind next time I'll know what I need to do. You really couldn’t make this up.

I wasn't there personally but I understand that it was requested that some of the information should not be published on an open forum. It doesn't stop you asking.

I’m trying to be slightly facetious although I am very concerned if they believe that asking people not to discuss on forums will facilitate any degree of privacy. How do they know there weren’t reporters at the meeting? And do they really think that our forum is the only public forum who speculate on the identify of transfer targets. The mind boggles.

How can Davey make them sign ? He can't hold a gun to their head like he is in the 'Godfather'. Some players and their agents will hold on as long as they can in case a better offer from a more fashionable club comes along.

Would any 1/2 decent footballer come to Oakwell with that clown as manager?

better to just put an open letter in the Chron explaining the situation? Yes we are aware the season is nearly upon us an we are now working tirelessly to bring in new faces to the club, but supporters must understand that we have to keep our targets hush hush or some other bugger is barn a nip in and sign em, or words to that effect, simply letting the bulk of supporters know the lay of the land rather than a few, again the club is alienating its main asset, we the supporters.
Someone said the club needs a proper PR agent quickly installed to nip situations such as this in the bud, no truer word spoken.
I can understand some of those that went playing silly buggers, this 'I've got a secret' **** suits them down to the ground, because manhood is a long, long way off yet.

 

I don't know but I'd hazzard a guess that it's far more to do with money

than whether the player liked the manager. If that were the case Slackwell wouldn't be able to sign a player from the Sunday league !!!

Me and my thick head I have been following instructions on how to put avatars and pictures on my control board...and guess what nothing either I am stupid or this is the hardest site to work with.

 

Summary

Italian or player in Italian league in talks but no one should know so they only told 230 people ,Colace nearly didn't come because of an internet site , internet the worst thing thats been invented except when PD was Chairman and AFC Barnsley was formed.

I don't know ,thats what was apparently said at the meeting,that the Colace deal was nearly scuppered because someone on 'an internet site' outed the deal......I wasn't at the meeting so it might be B*ll*cks.....I also heard that a Welsh bible was produced and Davey swore on it that he will play Campbell Rice as an attacking winger and not sign a midget striker and play long high balls into him that he has no chance of getting...... but I think I dreamt that
