... the Massives are panicking that there won't be enough Hotel rooms in London, if/ when they get to the Play Off Final. I kid you not. http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic/238155-wembley/
Yes should we get there ours would be 29th - Just have to hope the Massives dont get there as there wont be any rooms left for us. I mean that London hasnt got many hotel beds Wonder how they cope if you get a Manchester United v Liverpool FA cup final or Semi Final
I hope Wednesday don't get there the same weekend as us. It'll be like the Olympics with hotels upping their prices knowing that millions of fans will be descending on the capital from allover the globe. It'll be fecking 400 quid a night in an Hostel if Wednesday get to Wembley.
they will buy up some of their opponents and the football league maybe even erect huge screens around London for the hoards of fans who can't get a ticket
don't find that strange at all, its stranger to think that the government don't have some kind of plan to be implemented on such an occasion whereby its mandatory for all hotels and b&b's to cancel all existing bookings, and even implement an emergency protocol forcing Londoners to make their homes available for the overspill. I mean they are fking massive, everybody within shouting distance of S6 knows that
Priceless. Logic obviously dictates that Wednesday , average crowd 21 k would get 4 k more tickets allocated to them than Middlesbrough (average crowd 23k)
It's just been announced that the Ministry For Transport are carrying out unprecedented road-widening schemes to help carry the four billion Wednesday fans who have a fictitious ticket for the final of a tournament which is over a month away.
They'll just cancel them - most of the big hotel chains let you cancel up to noon on the day without cost (with certain kinds of bookings)
tbf i booked my JPT digs when we got through to the area finals. i've also booked digs for the play off final weekend. free cancellation and prices are only going to go up over time. seems sensible to me..
All other traffic has been banned from the M1 for the day to make sure the millions of Fowls get there smoothly
and Meadowhall will be shut for the day as it won't be worth opening due to all of Sheffield being at Wembley
Can't fault their confidence and what is being said actually makes sense...... Book now at a cheap price with a free cancelation should your team not make it there or...... Wait and see if you make it first and pay alot more than you would have had you booked now.
