FFS. The obsession with Styles is embarrassing.

 

It was one of the most baffling deals I can remember.

Didn’t they originally announce it as a permanent signing on a 4 year deal & quickly change it on the website? I really hope they have got him permanently.

 

He better not come back. Needs a move for everyone concerned now except probably Sunderland fans.

 

Que the but he's a international or a few good games in the euros and he will go for millions.

They're right, it was a bizarre move. Nothing about what Styles had done in league one up to January suggested that this was a good move. It's a shame, I wanted him to go really well up there with the likelihood it would have created some summer interest and the opportunity to receive a decent incoming transfer fee (not sure we'd have got the £2m but still a substantial fee) but it's just not happening for him. There's been rumours about his behaviours and attitude off the field whilst at Oakwell but none of us know the truth. Not sure how he'd fit back into our squad to be honest. We could be left in a difficult situation.

 

Yeah fancy seeing what supporters of a team in the division above think of one of our current players on loan at them

He's still the same then. Thought he might have changed his attitude moving to a big club.

 

I think playing in different position's as actually done him more harm than good, played CM, NO:10 and LWB, was great at LWB under Val put a shift in week in week out, strolls about with his head down nowadays, definitely needs to knuckle down and work out what he's supposed to be.

 

And according to the brain dead, we don't want him back, we want him to fail at Sunderland yet we want a good wedge for him....Obsession!!

 

I'd rather he just did well and we got a good fee, but posting about a player out on loan isn't been obsessed.

But people yearning for him to fail is in my opinion.

 

When you look at luca connell who is a couple of year younger than styles and imho could have forced a move to play in the championship in the summer if he had wanted to and played in the championship, but he never did he's just knuckled down got more efl games under his belt that will serve him well in the long run and eventually I'm sure will be a championship regular and have a great career. With Styles it just seems like he was trying to force it instead of just knuckling down and been a stand out player. I hope he comes good again but he seems to have lost his way from the player we saw under val.

 

I'm sure he played on Friday when they won 2-0 yet didn't get a mention on here.

 

Callumity Styles.

Their record since he signed has been atrocious, although I have absolutely no idea how much to blame Callum is for that.

Really hope it works out for him there, but don't particularly want him back here.
