Did he get a knock, or was he just not match fit?

Seemed to wimp out of a few challenges. I'd have had RNL on for Jimbo to be honest.

Tactical change at the end I reckon, although I thought we might have brought Bobby on so I was surprised when Rose came on for him.

Don't think he played bad today tbh, and i'm probably his biggest critic.

Agreed, I think that they wanted the lad to feel part of it too.

I thought he struggled to get into the game, but having seen the goals back, he played the ball to Dagnall for the run and pen and the ball into Harewood for the second, so I take that back. I just wish he would seek out possession more as he is a talented lad when on the ball.

I thought he got stuck in and made more of a fist of winning the ball back than I saw earlier in the season, clearly weren`t fully fit though IMO.

I thought he did ok, but there are times when he just doesn't get stuck in. There was one point where he made what I would describe as a "token gesture" to get the ball -i.e. he made it look as though he tried, but actually he knew he wasn't getting it because he wasn't going to put himself about.

I wondered if the reason he came off was tactical or due to tiredness/ injury.

As you say, he's a talented lad. I'd have preferred the energy of RNL to replace the energy of JOB though.

I think he needed another weeks training before so much game time.

Jimbos knock forced flickers hand though.

When he gets fully fit he's a class act on the ball, however I think we are better playing at a high tempo and I don't think that's his bag.

I agree with that.... he is a classy player, but today we beat Leeds because we were the first to every ball.....he didn't look sharp enough for that. Having said that, he's had game time which is good. I like him, but I think he needs to work on his work-rate.

Clearly wasn't ready to go straight back in like he did after missing so many games. But he played a part in both goals and we won the game so surely flicker made the right decision to put mellis on ahead of RNL

He's got real quality just needs to work on his fitness. I'll be patient because he's one of the few players we have who can really unlock the opposition.

    Sums it up.

We've got plenty of graft, we need a bit of quality. He's got that.
