BARNSLEY assistant manager Micky Mellon has revealed the Reds have turned down two
approaches from ambitous Skrill Premier outfit Forest Green Rovers for his services.

totally flummoxed why RNL is going out on loan when we have little cover & defence & a lack of wide players

Flicker says that he doesn't fit into the system we are playing so he needs to go out on loan. Personally I think Flicker's opinion is flawed and based on other factors because RNL is more than capable of doing a job in whatever system we play IMO.

Yeah RNL should be playing instead of TK.

As for Melon. Yeah it's a chance to manage but if he was willing to drop three divisions to do so it would look strange.

or possibly RNL playing in front of TK and move Mellis to CM where he is a much better player

I guess if a 3rd division club came in for Mellon he would be off like a shot - dropping 3 leagues doesnt make any sense

I'm really concerned about this system that flicker keeps talking about because up to press it doesn't seem to be working

He should be playing in front of TK in my opinion.
