    The problem that journalists have when there is nothing new to report is that they still have to report something. So they report something and present it as if it is new news. They can't exactly say "we've got nothing new to report".

    It's my honest opinion that if we had performed badly, Mellon would have gone today and we would have put a new caretaker manager in. I think thats why the club said there would be no further comment until Wednesday.
