Memories from the Keith Hill era

Despite it ending badly, we did have some great games from time to time during Keith's time as manager.

Few that spring to mind...

Reading 1 - 2 Barnsley (Steele saving 2 pens)
Leeds United 1 - 2 Barnsley (first win at Elland Road in years)
Peterborough Utd 3 - 4 Barnsley
Barnsley 2 - 1 Crystal Palace (quickest goal ever seen at Oakwell)
Barnsley 4 - 1 Leeds United
Leicester City 1 - 2 Barnsley
Rochdale 3 - 4 Barnsley (Bobby in goal!)
Barnsley 1 - 0 Middlesbrough
Charlton Athletic 0 - 1 Barnsley
Birmingham City 0 - 5 Barnsley


but of course, there were some dire matches especially at Oakwell...the early matches against Middlesbrough and Morecambe were pretty bad as were most from Jan 2012 onwards but although it was time for him to move on, we do have some good matches to remember the Hill era.

 

When you look at it, why didn't he get at teams more

 

***** manager, we're more than capable at getting at teams just he refused to change style of play, sticking with ***** players and tactics..
