Not many, I must admit. Although one game does stand out for me.
Back in the 1973/74 season we had a young, talented team, playing open & attractive football. Unfortunately, we were in the Fourth Division, where brute force usually won the day over skill. Tackling from behind was allowed and the skilful & creative players received no protection whatsoever from referees.
Anyway, after about thirty minutes or so we were 2-0 down despite playing some of our best football of the season. I was angry and frustrated like only a teenage boy can be! Thankfully, we stuck to our game plan and hit back to win the match 3-2. I think super Mick Butler got a couple of our goals, but I could well be wrong. My memory's like a sieve these days.

Didn't the Reds legend Pat Howard join Bury, and when he retired ran a sports shop in Bury town centre?

My first season 73-74, hence the user name! My first game was a cup tie v Bradford which would ve been a couple of weeks after that I suspect.
Not got many memories of Bury at all apart from a 2 2 draw at Gigg Lane, probably early 80s, when I remember us scoring a last minute equaliser.

He certainly did, my old mate.

That was in the 1979/80 season, mate, and Pat Howard scored Bury's second goal. We had a young kid making his debut that night called Paul Wormley. I don't think he made another appearance (but I could be wrong).

Yep, I remember Paul Wormley playing in that game. Centre forward if I remember correctly? I think you're right saying it was his only game for us.

Yes, he was, mate. A few weeks later we signed a certain Trevor Aylott.
