Just seen some people off there tonight for the Courteeners. Anyone know of any reasonably priced parking within walking distance of the arena? Taking my girlfriend to see Mumford and Sons there on Monday. Only been once, to see Arctic Monkeys last year, got stuck in traffic on the way there and just decided to park as close as possible, which was an NCP car park, that cost £13.00, then it took us an hour to get out of Manchester afterwards.
Not sure what street it is but about 10 mins away on the main road there's a couple of cheap (£3 I think) ones, I passed them on the way in and turned round once I'd seen the price of the official one. There's a mucky looking pub near a big junction heading towards the arena and they're next to that. I think it's the junction where you can turn down towards the railway station. Sorry it's a bit vague!
There is the boddingtons car park at back if arena next to strange ways which is 3 pound might be worth googling them
