Paradise Club ? Cala n Bosch ?

We had a week there about 4 years ago. Very impressed. Island is not that big - we hired a car for a couple of days to go to some of the better beaches. Can't remember much else - Amber was only a baby so I spent most of the nights awake and slept by the pool all day.

    Hire a car.

We stayed in Arenal D'en Castell (sp) which is roughly central. There is one major road that links the north and south and from our base it was 1/2 hour each way.

Beautiful, unspoiled island but may be a little quiet for teenagers - depending on how much entertaining they need.

My in-laws live there. Quite a quiet island, good beaches, best to hire a car. Fornells well worth checking out, try the fish restaurant the king eats at. Good bargains at Mahon market on saturdays. Ciutadella probably better than Mahon for shopping. San Jose restaurant fantastic for food. Es Molli de Foc another great restaurant found in the back streets of a small town called San Clemente. 1 golf course, not great, and very expensive. Gin boat trip from Es Castell on an evening and a walk along the second biggest natural harbour in the world to finish is a good night!!

    Hope this is useful!!

    defo hire a car

Cala n Bosch & cala galdana were very good for kids.

Fornells on north coast ok to walk round - big water sports place.

Also head for Mahon and take a harbour cruise, very good and if get right day will have large cruise liners in port.

Without the kids head for Cala Macarelleta, you will see some great sights there.
