    Today is damp and miserable, but still having quite a few nice days. Is getting really chilly at night though - first snow not due for another seven weeks officially but we'll see. Have had a real Indian summer throughout September and is forecast to stay fine into October. The thing is, the weather has a nasty habit of dropping ten or fifteen degrees in the course of a week. And then staying like that for the next five months.....
