Due to their dislike for the previous manager. Try popping down and view the alterations for yourselves. The team are playing attractive football, every player is giving 100% for the shirt from the first minute to the last and it's cheaper to watch. If you can spare the time and afford the price, then pop down and see the refreshing changes at Oakwell.

I'm not going while K.Hills in charge (he's gone)+ the tickets are too dear(they've been reduced)=lowest crowd of the season.I was never too good at maths but I still can't work that one out.

    It's easier to lose fans

Than it is to win them back. All I'm saying is that if these folk can spare the time and afford to go, then I'm sure they'll enjoy what they see. Just like we're doing. We need more fans through the gates and should welcome back those who've got out of the habit (for whatever reason). There's no need to resort to divisive, infantile name calling, or a 'better fan than you' attitude. The bigger the home gates, the better for everyone concerned.

We're playing really well, and I think all we need to stay up is the backing of the Barnsley fans.

You could just see us scoring last night, and the crowd knew it was coming too. There was a loud roar from the reds faithful and literally a minute later, we took the lead.

It was certainly one of the best performances we've turned out this season last night and it is certainly encouraging going into the final months of the season.

    It's only a suggestion

    It's not a demand.

Fully endorse that. We were excellent last night, as we were against Leeds. It's a totally different style of play to that under Hill. Get yourselves down.

We are all in it together, no time to start bickering. Still think the club need to be asked about membership card turnstiles, have they been asked? Its not a problem for myself living in tarn but for others it may be. Some folk just like to turn up at 10 to and walk in.

Mi fatha had a season ticket years back and went to the odd game on occasions. Stopped going due to work and family etc etc. We went to the Leeds game and thoroughly enjoyed it, went round Tarn beforehand and he'll be at the next home game vs. Bolton. Hopefully with the results going well it'll entice more supporters back too.

There is some common sense on these replies, and it is relieving to see there is some true supporters on here. If you cannot watch football at the standard we are playing at the moment, you will be missing out. I agree the ticket system is crap, and I cannot work out why we are using it. It has got to be a tax relief system via membership in my mind

    I agree.

If 'stayaways' had gone last night i'm sure that they'd be convinced to attend again.

It's that initial first game that is hard to get people back, but if they do they'll see the commitment and fight in this team is a pleasure to watch.

I am 3500 miles away, and wish i could attend, if every barnsley fan who attends the matches asked a friend, member of family spouse or neighbour to go Oakwell, then it would be rocking,I know when i come over I get my brother and two uncles to go, (buy em tickets )also meet some friends in tarn for pre match drink, the word needs spreading. The club appears to reaching out,now the fans need to come back.

    I Agree

    Enthusiometer rising with every game.

Great entertainment last night and (I thought) a better atmosphere despite the low crowd. Just before we scored Jim O'Brien went charging around their back line like a migrating wildebeest with an ingrowing toenail. Their lads panicked and we eventually won a throw after a poor kick (under pressure from said wildebeest) from their keeper. Daggers eventually scored following the throw in. While Jimbo was charging about the crowd were on their feet clapping and cheering, appreciating the work rate which indirectly led to the goal.

    There seemed to be

A togetherness amongst the players, staff & fans last night. We'll need that, and more, in the coming months if we are to successfully win this relegation battle. I believe we will.

    No thanks.
Glad they are winning and playing better, but I am not going back.
Call me infantile , or whatever you want, but somethings are worth more than football.
