You should be thoroughly ashamed of your goal celebrations today. For someone from Barnsley to celebrate the way you did today is shameful. Running to the West Stand with your arms in the air then running to the North Stand punching the air was atrocious behaviour. You were born in Barnsley and went to school in Barnsley, I appreciate you are employed by a team from Sheffield but you should have remained dignified when the goals went in. Shame on you.
He's not even a Wednesday player only on loan. i'd put that smiley with the dagger and red face but i've forgot what it is and it's no longer on the list.
He tried to give us a goal at the end though Lofted clearancestraight to a reds player. Not even sure if it resulted in Nads penalty shout or not.
Well Done Mark Crossley........ for the way you conducted yourself today. The way you acted running between your one and a half sides of fans was much deserved. You along with the rest of your team played with passion. I wish our home grown players (and the rest) had played with as much passion as you showed. Before the match going to the Ponty end you showed class and dignity even though the chavs and arseholes were slagging you off. I wish you was our goalkeeper as you not only don't make clangers, but know where the net is.
Also, he applauded the home fans prior to kick off Despite thejeering.I had no issue with him.
I'm more concerned with our performace than the conduct of Crossley.

RE: Well Done Mark Crossley........ I have resisted commenting on your postings until now. How you can congratulate someone from Barnsley celebrating like crazy today when the Wednesday goals went in is beyond belief. DBK3K you are a lovely person.
Because........ 1. He showed passion for the team he plays for which is more than can be said for our players. 2. He applauded our fans and showed class and dignity even though he got abused by the chavs. 3. If he was such a Barnsley lad he wouldn't have done so much celibrating. But he's never played for us anyway.
I don't give a toss if he celebrated the goals to be fair............ Personally I feel it was TWO FINGERS to all the fans that booed him and slated him through out the first half........ Who had the last laugh!!!??

Good keeper

Nick Colgan should have watched and learnt. Mark is a keeper who controlled his area. Why be sad or unenthusiastic being on the winning side. Barnsley (with their track record) probably rejected him as a kid.
If I wa getting booed by say 10'000 people before a game, then hounded everytime I took a goal kick then when my team scored I would be doing cartwheels!!!!!
End of day, forget what Crossley did. If 11 RED shirts had but as much energy into the game as Crossley did celebrating them goals then we might have scored.

For someone who lives in Rotherham heres my last post on the matter. I was born in Barnsley, so were my children. No way would I ever celebrate another team scoring st Oakwell, maybe thats where we differ.
WRONG...... he was born in Hoyland, he went to Kirk Balk school in Hoyland. Midway between Barnsley and Sheffield....the only thing disgraceful today was the shower of spineless, idle, careless, tossers we call the Barnsley First team.
err RIGHT..... Hoyland is a district of Barnsley.
Kirk Balk school is funded by Barnsley LEA.
